Capital Infra Trust, an InvIT sponsored by Gawar Construction, reported strong FY26 results with AUM growing 42% YoY to Rs. 66,114 Mn after acquiring 3 ROFO assets at ~9.3% discount to fair value. The trust holds 12 operational HAM road assets with NHAI as counterparty, generating annuity-based cash flows with no traffic risk. Q4 FY26 consolidated total income rose 90% QoQ to Rs. 3,449.7 Mn, with EBITDA of Rs. 2,818 Mn. For FY26, cash yield stood at 13.1% with DPU of Rs. 11.60/unit. FY27 distribution guidance is Rs. 9.00–9.25/unit (~13–13.5% cash yield). The trust targets AUM of Rs. 100,000+ Mn via 5–8 ROFO acquisitions in FY27 plus third-party deals, with potential leverage increase to 60% post-Q1FY27 to enhance margins. Net Debt/EV is at a comfortable 40.9% with effective interest rate of 7.33%. Cumulative distributions since IPO amount to ~Rs. 10,939 Mn.
Strong execution with 42% AUM growth and 13.1% cash yield positions the trust well; the disclosed ROFO pipeline of 17 assets provides multi-year growth visibility, and planned leverage increase to 60% could further boost returns for unitholders.
