Capital Infra Trust, a road HAM InvIT sponsored by Gawar Construction, shared its Q2 & H1 FY26 investor presentation. The Trust holds 9 operational HAM assets (~683 km, AUM ~Rs. 4,282 Cr) spanning 7 states, all with NHAI as counterparty. Q2 FY26 DPU stood at Rs. 3.25 with NDCF of Rs. 1,035.7 Mn and annuity receipts of Rs. 5,229 Mn in line with guidance. Consolidated revenue was Rs. 1,870.56 Mn with EBITDA of Rs. 1,351.08 Mn and net profit of Rs. 784.28 Mn. Management outlined plans to acquire 3 ROFO assets in FY26 (JRR Highways, Hasanpur-Bakhtiyarpur, Champa-Korba) at a combined fair enterprise value of ~Rs. 2,534 Cr, funded partly by a Rs. 345 Cr preferential issue from the sponsor. AUM is targeted to grow to ~Rs. 10,000 Cr by FY27 and ~USD 5 Bn by 2030.
Clear growth visibility through ROFO pipeline and disciplined deleveraging are positive for unitholders. The preferential issue from the sponsor signals confidence, while net DPU of Rs. 6.86 for H1 and AAA/Stable rating support stable distribution outlook. Short-term stock reaction may hinge on the actual completion and pricing of the 3 ROFO acquisitions and pace of debt reduction toward the 45-47% target.
