Bilcare Limited, the sole promoter of Caprihans India, has been allotted 3,30,000 equity shares on conversion of warrants at Rs. 200 each (Rs. 10 face value + Rs. 190 premium). This is the 4th tranche of warrant conversion in FY2025-26, with prior tranches completed on March 20, 23, and 24, 2026. As a result, Bilcare's stake in Caprihans India has risen from 55.99% (81.88 lakh shares) to 59.56% (94.78 lakh shares). Bilcare still holds 20.20 lakh convertible warrants, suggesting further share increases in coming tranches.
This is a positive signal showing the promoter's continued confidence and capital commitment in the subsidiary. The rising promoter stake to nearly 60% reduces floating supply, which can be supportive of the share price, though investors should note the steady creep toward higher regulatory thresholds.
