Captain Pipes Ltd reported audited results for Q4 and FY25 on May 10, 2025, with the statutory auditor (J.C. Ranpura & Co.) issuing an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated statements. Standalone revenue was nearly flat at ₹7,674.92 lakhs (vs ₹7,634.77 lakhs last year), while standalone profit after tax rose about 11% to ₹441.03 lakhs (from ₹398.22 lakhs); Q4 standalone revenue grew about 12% YoY to ₹2,270.69 lakhs. For the first time, consolidated results were also reported, adding a ₹434.72 lakhs share of profit from associate Captain Polyplast, which lifted consolidated PAT to ₹875.74 lakhs and EPS to ₹0.59. During the year the company raised fresh equity of around ₹980 lakhs and sharply raised long-term borrowings (from ₹258.78 to ₹1,025.85 lakhs) to fund a major capex push — capital work-in-progress jumped from ₹22.5 to ₹1,019.27 lakhs. Standalone operating cash flow, however, turned negative at -₹238.49 lakhs (vs +₹406.55 lakhs), hit by higher tax payments and working capital outflows.
Results show steady standalone operations and a one-time earnings boost from the newly added associate, but the swing to negative operating cash flow and a sharp rise in long-term debt are points to monitor. The heavy capex points to capacity expansion that could support future growth if execution stays on track.
