Captain Polyplast Limited reported its Q2 FY26 (quarter ended 30 Sept 2025) results, with standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 7,972.67 lakhs, up ~50% YoY from Rs. 5,325.75 lakhs in Q2 FY25. H1 FY26 revenue stood at Rs. 14,946.87 lakhs vs Rs. 11,814.54 lakhs in H1 FY25, a ~26.5% rise. Standalone profit after tax for H1 FY26 was Rs. 826.53 lakhs vs Rs. 1,885.96 lakhs in H1 FY25, with the YoY decline largely due to an exceptional gain of Rs. 1,560.81 lakhs in the base period from sale of equity shares of Captain Pipes Limited. Total assets grew to Rs. 31,322.11 lakhs as of 30 Sept 2025 from Rs. 27,561.63 lakhs at end-FY25. The auditor (J.C. Ranpura & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong top-line growth reflects healthy demand in the micro-irrigation and polymer segments, though reported PAT comparisons are distorted by a one-time exceptional gain in the year-ago quarter. Ex-exceptional, underlying profitability has improved meaningfully, which is the key positive takeaway for shareholders.
