CARE Ratings' board, which met on August 5, 2025, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025), reviewed by auditors B S R & Co. LLP. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose to ₹9,390.50 lakhs from ₹7,892.00 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (about 19% YoY growth), while net profit grew to ₹2,649.74 lakhs from ₹2,138.29 lakhs (about 24% YoY). Standalone numbers were even stronger: revenue at ₹7,563.93 lakhs (up from ₹6,534.35 lakhs) and net profit at ₹2,911.55 lakhs (up from ₹2,401.16 lakhs). Basic EPS stood at ₹8.61 (consolidated) and ₹9.72 (standalone). The board also approved the reappointment of Mr. G. Mahalingam and Mr. V. Chandrasekaran as Independent Directors for three-year terms effective November 21 and December 7, 2025 respectively, subject to shareholder approval. The meeting ran from 12:15 PM to 4:00 PM.
Strong YoY growth in both revenue and profit signals a healthy start to FY26, which should be viewed positively by shareholders. The director reappointments are routine but bring continuity in board leadership; any short-term stock reaction will likely hinge on the actual Q1 numbers versus market expectations.
