CarTrade Tech reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹199 crore, up 27% year-on-year, while profit after tax doubled to ₹47 crore (+106% YoY). The Consumer Group (CarWale, BikeWale, CarTrade) grew revenue 32% YoY and PAT 79%, achieving a 29% EBITDA margin described as a benchmark for the industry. The Remarketing (vehicle auction) business posted 36% revenue growth and a sharp 258% jump in PAT, while OLX India saw profits rise 71% YoY on stable 2% revenue growth. The company remains debt-free with a strong cash balance of around ₹1,024 crore, serves roughly 75 million monthly active users across platforms, and crossed 150 million users on each of CarWale, BikeWale, and OLX. Adjusted EBITDA margin expanded to 37% from 28% a year ago, reflecting improved profitability across all segments.
Strong broad-based growth across all three segments and a doubling of profits signal healthy operating momentum, likely to be viewed positively by investors. The debt-free status with ₹1,024 crore cash provides room for future investments, acquisitions, or shareholder returns, supporting sentiment around the stock.
