Ceeta Industries Ltd has published its audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year FY25 in Business Line (English) and Vijay Karnataka (Kannada) newspapers on May 31, 2025, as required under SEBI LODR regulations. For Q4 FY25, total income from operations rose sharply to Rs 544.01 lakhs from Rs 203.04 lakhs in Q4 FY24, while profit after tax stood at Rs 6.19 lakhs versus Rs 9.4 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. For the full year FY25, total income grew to Rs 2,035.84 lakhs from Rs 1,314.28 lakhs in FY24, and the company swung to a profit after tax of Rs 239.94 lakhs compared to a loss of Rs 159.86 lakhs in FY24. The turnaround was largely driven by an exceptional item of Rs 283.10 lakhs (net) arising from a borrower repaying an outstanding loan of Rs 591.06 lakhs along with Rs 308.94 lakhs in compensation for delayed repayment. Basic EPS for FY25 stood at Rs 1.89 versus Rs (1.40) in FY24.
Shareholders see the company return to profitability after a loss-making FY24, but the headline PAT is heavily supported by a one-time exceptional recovery rather than core operations. Investors should focus on the underlying business performance, as Q4 standalone PAT actually declined year-on-year despite revenue growth.
