Ceigall India's subsidiary, Ceigall Ludhiana Bathinda Greenfield Highway Pvt. Ltd., has received a letter from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) declaring 29th September 2025 as the official Appointed Date for a major highway project. The project involves developing a 6-lane access-controlled greenfield highway section (Package-2) on NH-754AD in Punjab as part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer Economic Corridor under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I. The bid project cost is Rs 981 crore, executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) with a 730-day construction period and 15-year operation period. About 94.67% of the required land (42.833 km out of 45.243 km) has already been handed over, clearing conditions precedent for the appointed date.
This is a positive milestone as the appointed date formally kicks off the construction phase, enabling the subsidiary to begin recognising project revenue and start billing under the HAM model. The Rs 981 crore project strengthens Ceigall's order book and provides revenue visibility over the next two years of construction.
