Cello World Ltd's Board approved the final dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share (30% on face value of Rs 5) for FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM on August 7, 2026. The record date for dividend eligibility is July 31, 2026, with payment on or after August 12, 2026. The company also announced that the Composite Scheme of Arrangement involving Wim Plast Limited demerger and amalgamation became effective from May 27, 2026 (appointed date April 1, 2025). Standalone revenue for FY26 was flat at Rs 1,115.5 Crores vs Rs 1,112.6 Crores, but profit after tax declined 28% to Rs 80.5 Crores from Rs 111.6 Crores in FY25. Authorised share capital was reclassified to Rs 140 Crores (28 crore shares of Rs 5 each).
The 30% dividend payout is positive for income-focused investors despite a significant year-on-year decline in profitability. The corporate restructuring (demerger/amalgamation) creates additional complexity for shareholders but may unlock long-term value.
