At its 47th Annual General Meeting held on 7th August 2025, shareholders of ITD Cementation India Limited approved two special resolutions by way of special business. First, the company name will be changed from 'ITD Cementation India Limited' to 'Cemindia Projects Limited', subject to approval from the Registrar of Companies. Second, the Articles of Association have been amended to remove all references to the erstwhile promoter Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITDPCL) and replace them with the new promoter Renew Exim DMCC (belonging to the Adani Group). The name change is being undertaken because the company can no longer use the 'ITD' logo now that ownership and control have shifted from ITDPCL to Renew Exim DMCC. Both resolutions are still pending approval from the Registrar of Companies before they become effective.
This is largely an administrative rebranding exercise following the Adani Group's takeover of the company. Existing shareholders should note that the stock will eventually trade under a new name, but there is no direct impact on shareholding, business operations, or financials. The underlying business of the company remains unchanged.
