CDSL has received SEBI approval to invest an additional Rs 20 crore in India International Bullion Holding IFSC Limited (IIBHL) by subscribing to 20 crore equity shares at face value of Rs 1 each. The funds will support IT infrastructure and maintain networth at subsidiary India International Depository IFSC Limited. CDSL already holds a 20% stake and the additional investment keeps the holding unchanged at 20%. The first tranche of Rs 10 crore is expected by August 2, 2026. IIBHL is a consortium holding company for the bullion exchange project at GIFT IFSC, involving CDSL, BSE, NSE, MCX and NSDL. Consolidated turnover of IIBHL for FY26 was about Rs 10.47 crore.
