CDSL reported standalone total income of ₹1,096 crore for FY26, up 11% YoY from ₹985 crore, with net profit of ₹468 crore, growing just 1% from ₹462 crore. On a consolidated basis, total income rose 3% to ₹1,239 crore but net profit fell 14% to ₹455 crore from ₹526 crore a year ago. Q4 standalone revenue grew 5% YoY to ₹215 crore but net profit dropped 15% YoY to ₹69 crore, with a sharp 43% sequential decline from Q3. The company surpassed 18 crore demat accounts as of March 31, 2026, adding approximately 2.71 crore new accounts during FY26. The Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹12.75 per equity share.
Revenue growth of 11% on standalone basis is healthy but below 20% growth signals; however, net profit growth is minimal at 1% standalone and declined 14% on consolidated basis, which may concern profitability-focused investors. The strong dividend payout provides shareholder reassurance despite muted profit growth.
