Centrum Capital has retired from its subsidiary Centrum Alternatives LLP (CAL LLP), extinguishing its 99.998% partnership interest. Surplus Fincare Private Limited has been inducted as a new partner in CAL LLP, and as a result CAL LLP will no longer be a subsidiary of Centrum Capital. The consideration received was Rs. 7.50 lakh, which represents the settlement of Centrum's capital account in the LLP. CAL LLP had nil turnover in FY2024-25 and a net worth of Rs. 141.30 lakh, contributing only 2.09% to Centrum's consolidated net worth. The buyer is not part of the promoter/promoter group, and the transaction is not a related party transaction.
This is a minor portfolio cleanup — CAL LLP is a small, non-revenue-generating entity (2.09% of consolidated net worth) so the financial impact on Centrum Capital is negligible. Shareholders are unlikely to see any meaningful change in stock price or business outlook from this withdrawal.
