Centum Electronics reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs. 273 crores, up 11% year-on-year, with consolidated EBITDA at Rs. 23 crores (8.38% margin) and net profit of Rs. 4.5 crores. Standalone business performed strongly with revenue of Rs. 180 crores (+35% YoY), EBITDA of Rs. 27 crores (14.92% margin, doubling YoY), and net profit of Rs. 16.5 crores (over 250% YoY growth), driven by high-margin build-to-spec (BTS) defense and space deliveries. Order book stood at Rs. 1,769 crores, split between EMS (Rs. 710 cr), BTS (Rs. 886 cr), and ER&D (Rs. 171 cr). Management won a DRDO development order for the Virupaksha Radar (Rs. 10 cr initial, with potential Rs. 1,000 cr opportunity tied to Sukhoi-30 platform), and is evaluating strategic actions to exit or restructure the loss-making Canadian subsidiary (Rs. 12 cr quarterly subsidiary losses, ~50% from Canada). New NPI qualifications in semiconductor, biometrics, and export defense are expected to add ~USD 15 million in revenue during FY26.
