Centum Electronics reported audited Q4 FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs 3,426.25 million, with full-year revenue at Rs 9,706.25 million, up 25% from Rs 7,741.86 million in FY2025. However, the company posted a standalone net loss of Rs 1,170.50 million for FY2026 versus a profit of Rs 456.31 million in FY2025, due to exceptional items totaling Rs 2,033.07 million. These exceptional items include a Rs 1,537.83 million provision for impairment of investment in Centum T&S Group (overseas subsidiary under Redressement Judiciaire), Rs 396 million write-off of trade receivables from Canada subsidiaries, and Rs 100.78 million inventory write-off. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 5 per share (50%) subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, 18,033 equity shares were allotted under the ESOP plan, and auditors KPMG and K.S. Kamalakara & Co. were re-appointed for FY2026-27.
Despite strong revenue growth, the large exceptional items from overseas subsidiary issues have resulted in a net loss for the year. The dividend recommendation provides some return to shareholders, but investors should monitor the resolution of the France-based T&S Group situation and Canada subsidiary liquidation.
