Century Enka has informed the exchanges that the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has permitted continued operation of its NFY Spinning Plant at Unit-Rajashree Polyfil in Bharuch, Gujarat. This follows a fire incident at the plant on 27th February 2025, after which an interim environment compensation of Rs. 36 lakhs and a bank guarantee of Rs. 2.5 lakhs were imposed in April 2025. The GPCB had allowed phased resumption in June 2025, and after an inspection on 29th July 2025, confirmed on 22nd August 2025 that the unit is complying with all conditions of the Consolidated Consent and Authorisation (CCA). The unit has been directed to continue adhering to the applicable CCA conditions. No further financial impact has been disclosed.
