Cera Sanitaryware Limited has published a newspaper notice informing shareholders about the transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, the company is required to transfer shares where dividends have remained unclaimed or unpaid for seven consecutive years or more. The notice gives affected shareholders until 15th August 2026 to claim their unpaid dividends from financial year 2018-19 onwards by writing to the company. Shareholders can verify the details of unclaimed dividends and shares liable for transfer on the company's website www.cera-india.com. After the deadline, the company will transfer the shares to IEPF without further notice. Shares already transferred to IEPF can be claimed back from the IEPF Authority by following the prescribed procedure.
Shareholders who fail to claim their unclaimed dividends by 15th August 2026 will have their shares transferred to IEPF, resulting in loss of direct shareholding. However, they can reclaim the shares later from IEPF through a defined process.
