CG Power's Board approved its audited financial results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations grew 22.6% YoY to Rs. 9,328.97 crores (vs Rs. 7,609.91 crores in FY24), driven by strong growth in both Power Systems (+35%) and Industrial Systems (+16%) segments. However, profit after tax slipped slightly to Rs. 974.46 crores (vs Rs. 1,004.36 crores), with FY25 EPS at Rs. 6.38. Q4 was strong, with revenue up 23% and PAT up 14.5% YoY at Rs. 275.49 crores. The company confirmed the Renesas RF Components business acquisition was completed after year-end, following CFIUS approval. An interim dividend of Rs. 1.30 per share was paid during the year. Statutory auditors SRBC & Co LLP issued an unmodified opinion. Two independent directors (Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Iyer and Mr. P S Jayakumar) were re-appointed for a second five-year term, and Parikh & Associates were appointed as Secretarial Auditors for FY26–FY30.
Solid topline growth signals strong demand, though the marginal decline in FY25 net profit (vs FY24 which included exceptional items) is a slight concern. The completed Renesas RF Components acquisition is a meaningful expansion into semiconductors that could drive future growth. The unmodified audit opinion, dividend payment, and board continuity are positive governance signals for shareholders.
