Chalet Hotels reported strong FY26 results with consolidated net profit jumping 421% to Rs 6,450 million from Rs 1,425 million in FY25, driven by real estate revenue of Rs 7,383 million from the Bengaluru project. Total income rose 60% to Rs 28,124 million. The board recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per share (10% on Rs 10 face value), with interim dividend already paid earlier. Shareholders will vote on raising up to Rs 10,000 million via NCDs or commercial paper. The company is diluting its stake in subsidiary Chalet Airport Hotel Private Limited from 100% to 70% (total investment Rs 385 crore), which will remain a subsidiary. Post-meeting, the company announced acquisition of Seasons Hotels Private Limited (144-room Inder Residency Resort & Spa, Udaipur) for Rs 1,710 million. Auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated financials.
Strong profit growth and the upcoming fund raise support expansion plans. The subsidiary stake dilution reduces parent's direct exposure while keeping control. The Udaipur acquisition adds inventory. Ongoing Vashi lease litigation remains a risk but regularization progress (CIDCO approved) is positive.
