Challani Capital Limited (formerly Indo Asia Finance Limited) has published its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 31 December 2025 in Trinity Mirror (English) and Makkal Kural (Tamil), as required by SEBI listing rules. Total income from operations stood at Rs. 31.29 lakhs, down sharply from Rs. 63.43 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a decline of roughly 50%. Net profit for the quarter came in at Rs. 8.44 lakhs versus Rs. 38.84 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a drop of about 78%. Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rs. 0.06, compared to Rs. 0.06 earlier (the filing shows Rs. 0.06 for both Q3 FY26 and Q3 FY25 base/diluted: 0.06 vs 0.26). The board, which approved the results on 5 February 2026, noted that equity share capital remains at Rs. 1,500 lakhs and reserves improved to negative Rs. 690.18 lakhs from negative Rs. 843.45 lakhs a year ago, though still in deficit.
For shareholders, the headline numbers are weak — both top-line and bottom-line halved year-on-year in Q3, and reserves remain negative. However, the improvement in reserves from a year ago suggests the company is slowly working toward wiping out its accumulated losses, but the weak quarterly performance is likely to weigh on sentiment.
