Chambal Fertilisers shared its investor presentation for the quarter and six months ended September 30, 2025. Standalone Q2 revenue jumped 48% year-on-year to Rs 6,413 crore, while PAT grew 20% to Rs 602 crore. H1 revenue rose 31% to Rs 12,110 crore and PAT rose 18% to Rs 1,240 crore, driven by strong P&K fertiliser volumes and prices, better margins in Crop Protection Chemicals (CPC) and Speciality Nutrients (SN), and improved performance from the IMACID Morocco joint venture. The non-urea growing business (CPC, SN, Seeds) posted 32% revenue and 33% contribution growth in H1, with biologicals revenue up 80%. Urea volumes were slightly lower due to an unscheduled shutdown of the G3 plant. The Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) project is 87% complete with Rs 1,052 crore already spent out of the Rs 1,645 crore budget, targeting 2.4 lakh MTPA capacity.
Strong results and a robust growth pipeline in CPC, biologicals and seeds support the bull case, while the near-complete TAN project signals a major capacity addition ahead. Overall positive for shareholders, though urea volumes remain a watchpoint due to plant reliability issues.
