Chambal Fertilizers has informed the exchanges that commissioning activities at its new Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) project at Gadepan, District Kota (Rajasthan) are in progress. The project includes a plant for Weak Nitric Acid (WNA) manufacture. Production of intermediaries — Weak Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate Solution (ANS) Melt — is scheduled to commence from May 15, 2026. Final production of prilled High Density Ammonium Nitrate (HDAN) is expected by May 31, 2026. The project is being set up at the company's existing site.
Positive for shareholders — the project is moving from construction to commissioning phase, with commercial production of HDAN expected within about a month.
