Chambal Fertilizers has shared the audited financial results (both standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025, published in Business Standard and Rajasthan Patrika newspapers on May 9, 2025. For FY25 on a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to Rs. 16,646.20 crore from Rs. 17,966.41 crore in FY24, but profit after tax jumped about 24% to Rs. 1,656.79 crore from Rs. 1,331.44 crore, and basic EPS rose to Rs. 41.35 from Rs. 32.19. Q4 standalone numbers were weak due to seasonality, with revenue at Rs. 2,448.73 crore and PAT at Rs. 99.71 crore. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 5.00 per share (50% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY25.
Despite a fall in full-year revenue, sharply higher profits and EPS suggest improved margins, which is positive for shareholders. The 50% final dividend adds to shareholder returns, while the weak Q4 is typical for fertilizer companies and unlikely to worry long-term investors.
