Chandni Machines reported standalone unaudited results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025. Revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹2,589.90 lakhs from ₹6,227.15 lakhs in the same quarter last year, a steep YoY decline of roughly 58%. Profit before tax stood at ₹101.18 lakhs versus ₹127.82 lakhs in Q1 FY25, while net profit after tax came in at ₹74.68 lakhs versus ₹97.41 lakhs, down about 23% YoY. EPS was at ₹2.31 compared to ₹3.02 in the year-ago quarter. The statutory auditor Ambavat Jain & Associates LLP issued an unmodified review report with no qualifications. The board also re-appointed N.L. Bhatia & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY25-26.
The dramatic ~58% drop in quarterly revenue is a major red flag for shareholders and warrants scrutiny into whether it reflects a one-off order timing issue, demand weakness, or loss of business. While absolute profits fell, the company held margins by cutting costs aggressively, but the top-line collapse is likely to weigh on the stock in the near term.
