Change in Chief Compliance Officer ("CCO") of IREDA
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
IREDA has changed its Chief Compliance Officer effective May 1, 2025. The outgoing CCO, Shri Piyush Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Law), stepped down due to his superannuation (retirement) from IREDA on April 30, 2025. In his place, Smt. Punnu Grover, Additional General Manager (Finance & Accounts), has been appointed as the new CCO for a three-year term running from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2028, or until further orders. She holds an M.Com degree, is a member of the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, and brings over 29 years of experience. Notably, she has previously held the CCO position at IREDA, making this a familiar internal transition.
This is a routine, planned leadership transition driven by retirement rather than any governance concern. The replacement is an experienced internal candidate with prior familiarity with the CCO role, so the change should be neutral for shareholders with no expected impact on the stock price.
