Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) announced a change at the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer level, effective June 10–11, 2025. Mr. Ritesh Shah stepped down from the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer roles (and from KMP status), but will continue with the company as Chief Legal Officer. Mr. Sumeet Maheshwari, a qualified Company Secretary with over 24 years of secretarial experience across manufacturing, NBFC, and automobile sectors, has been appointed as the new Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and KMP effective June 11, 2025. The board approved both changes based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
This is a routine KMP-level reshuffle with no disruption to operations — the outgoing Company Secretary stays on as Chief Legal Officer, and the incoming appointee is an experienced governance professional. Shareholders are unlikely to see any meaningful impact on the stock from this transition.
