Mahindra & Mahindra has approved the resignation of Ms. Asha Kharga, Senior Management Personnel and Chief Customer Officer of the company, effective close of 30th June 2025. She is not leaving the Mahindra ecosystem but is moving to a new role within the group as Chief Customer Officer of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd. (MHRIL), effective 1st July 2025. MHRIL plans to expand its resort footprint to 10,000 keys by 2030, and her 28+ years of brand and customer experience expertise will support that growth. The Group CEO, Dr. Anish Shah, described the move as consistent with placing strong leaders in high-value-creation areas.
This is an internal group transfer rather than a true exit, so it is unlikely to have any material negative impact on M&M's stock. Investors should monitor MHRIL separately for the strategic push into premium hospitality, but no immediate concerns for M&M shareholders.
