Chemcon Speciality Chemicals filed its May 2025 investor presentation covering Q4 and FY25 results. Full-year revenue fell 22% to Rs. 207.4 crore due to weak demand in organic and inorganic segments, lower realizations, and supply chain issues. Despite the revenue drop, profitability improved sharply: FY25 EBITDA rose 22% to Rs. 32.9 crore and PAT grew 27% to Rs. 24.5 crore, with PAT margins expanding from 7.2% to 11.8%. Q4 FY25 PAT jumped 36% YoY to Rs. 3.9 crore. Management highlighted early signs of demand recovery, new products in client approval and trial stages, and upcoming P-10 and P-11 manufacturing units at Manjusar targeted for commissioning in H1 FY26.
Positive surprise on profitability despite weak revenue, showing margin resilience. The new capacity and product pipeline could drive growth, but near-term demand from pharma and agrochemical clients remains soft, so investors should watch for evidence of recovery in coming quarters.
