CIE Automotive India filed a revised investor presentation for Q2 and H1 CY2025 results, correcting an error in a note on pages 7 and 11. In Q2 CY2025, consolidated sales rose 4% YoY to ₹22,906 million, but EBITDA fell 8% to ₹3,588 million with margin dropping to 15.7% from 17.7%. India operations performed well with sales up 7% to ₹14,591 million, while European sales dipped 1% to ₹8,315 million and EBITDA plunged 25% due to a one-off restructuring cost at Metalcastello (~2.4% of sales). For H1 CY2025, consolidated sales slipped 1% to ₹44,868 million, EBITDA declined 9% to ₹7,305 million, and PAT fell 8% to ₹4,099 million. The company remains net cash positive with NFD/EBITDA at -0.52 and paid ₹2,656 million in dividends (₹7/share) during the quarter.
Shareholders should note mixed performance: India is the growth engine while Europe is a drag, with consolidated margins under pressure from European restructuring costs. The stock may face near-term pressure due to Europe uncertainty, but the strong net cash position, healthy dividend payout, and continued India capex provide stability.
