Cineline India (MovieMAX) reported its highest ever financial performance in FY26 with total revenue of Rs. 24,205 lakh (+14% YoY) and EBITDA of Rs. 3,565 lakh (+46% YoY). The company achieved debt-free status by paying off Rs. 228 crores of debt in FY25 through monetization of non-core assets, generating annual savings of Rs. 22 crores. Q4 FY26 showed strong momentum with revenue of Rs. 6,323 lakh (+14% YoY) and EBITDA of Rs. 905 lakh (+100% YoY). Key metrics improved significantly: ATP increased to Rs. 259 (+8% YoY) and SPH to Rs. 105 (+19% YoY). The company operates 85 screens across 22 cinemas in 15 cities and appointed Rajeev Sharma as Joint CEO with 30+ years of cinema and entertainment experience. The board proposed a dividend of Rs. 1.25 per share.
Strong operational performance with margin expansion (EBITDA margin up 320 bps to 14.7%) and debt elimination positions the company well for its expansion plans targeting 105-110 screens by FY27. The focus on asset-light growth through revenue-share models and secured lease deeds for 25+ new screens provides visibility on future pipeline.
