Citius TransNet Investment Trust reported its first set of audited financial results for the quarter and period from July 21, 2025 to March 31, 2026. The Trust recorded a net loss of Rs. 31.53 million against total income of Rs. 25.95 million, primarily due to pre-operational expenses including IPO costs. Total assets stood at Rs. 257.42 million, mainly comprising Rs. 257.41 million in IPO-related expenses. Unitholders' equity turned negative at Rs. (31.52) million. The Trust listed on BSE and NSE on April 29, 2026, raising Rs. 11,050 million through an IPO of 110.5 million units at Rs. 100 each. Subsequently, on April 21, 2026, the Trust acquired 100% equity in 2 holding companies and 10 operational highway SPVs (7 toll-based and 3 fixed annuity projects). Related party transactions included Rs. 236.24 million each to Epic TransNet Infrastructure Private Limited and EAAA Transinfra Managers Limited for expense reimbursements, plus Rs. 1.15 million in trustee fees to Axis Trustee Services Limited. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
The Trust was pre-operational during the reporting period with no revenue-generating assets. Negative equity reflects accumulated losses and IPO costs. Post-listing acquisition of infrastructure assets should improve financial position going forward, though investors should monitor operational performance from the newly acquired SPVs.
