City Union Bank has submitted copies of the newspaper advertisement of its Q2 and H1 FY 2026 standalone unaudited financial results, published on November 4, 2025 in Business Line, Business Standard, Financial Express, Dinamalar, and Dinakaran, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations 30/47. As reported in the publication, the bank's total business grew 20% year-on-year to Rs. 1,27,047 crore in Q2 FY26, with deposits up 21% at Rs. 69,486 crore and advances up 18% at Rs. 57,561 crore. Net profit for the quarter rose 15% to Rs. 329 crore, supported by net interest income of Rs. 667 crore. Asset quality remained healthy with net NPA at 0.90% and ROE at 1.59%, while net worth increased to Rs. 9,838 crore from Rs. 8,838 crore. The bank now operates 889 branches and 1,709 ATMs.
The strong 20% growth in total business and 15% rise in net profit, combined with a low net NPA of 0.90%, reflect healthy fundamentals, though this is a routine regulatory disclosure of already-published results and is unlikely to cause a sharp stock price reaction on its own.
