CARE Ratings upgraded Clean Max's credit ratings for Non-Convertible Debentures (₹400 crore) and Long-Term Bank Loan Facilities (₹3,079.07 crore) from A+ (Positive) to AA- (Stable). Short-Term Bank Loan Facilities (₹6,500 crore) were reaffirmed at A1+. The upgrades reflect strong operational and financial performance for FY26. Separately, the company prematurely redeemed NCDs worth ₹499 crore and unlisted NCDs worth ₹100 crore on April 2, 2026, leading to rating withdrawals for those instruments. Total rated facilities stand at ₹9,579.07 crore.
The rating upgrade to AA- (Stable) signals improved creditworthiness and lower default risk, which could lower borrowing costs and boost investor confidence in the stock.
