CMX Holdings Ltd has filed a Post Offer Advertisement with BSE after the open offer by Mr. Amay Vatsalya closed on October 14, 2025. The offer was to buy up to 29,49,500 equity shares (26% of equity capital) at ₹9.70 per share, with payment completed on October 24, 2025. Only 75 shares were actually tendered and accepted by public shareholders, against the proposed offer size of ₹2.86 crore — an extremely poor response of essentially zero participation. The acquirer had already taken control with 51.75% via a Share Purchase Agreement, and post-offer his holding stands at 51.76% (58,70,977 shares). Public shareholding now stands reduced to 48.24%. The Post Offer Advertisement has been published in Business Standard (English & Hindi), Navshakti (Marathi), and Indore Samachar (Hindi) as required by SEBI takeover rules.
The open offer received almost no response from public shareholders, suggesting the ₹9.70 per share offer price was unattractive versus market expectations. The takeover process is now formally complete, with the acquirer firmly in control of the company, leaving retail investors with a thin public float of around 48%.
