Coal India reports SWMA e-auction data for Mar'26 and FY 2025-26

Coal India shared provisional SWMA e-auction data. In March 2026, it offered 325.32 Lakh Tonnes and allocated 133.17 Lakh Tonnes (41% allocation), with a 45% average premium over notified price. For full FY 2025-26, it offered 2,221.5 Lakh Tonnes and allocated 1,017.21 Lakh Tonnes (46% allocation), at a 38% premium over notified price. Subsidiary-wise data shows NCL achieved the highest FY allocation (83%) and premium (58%), while BCCL lagged with just 17% allocation. NCL and SECL posted the strongest March premiums (80% and 70% respectively).
Strong e-auction premiums and 46% FY allocation show robust demand, supporting revenue and pricing power for CIL.
