Coal India Limited reported provisional monthly production of 56.1 million tonnes for April 2026, down 9.7% from 62.1 million tonnes in the same period last year. Most subsidiaries reported declines, with BCCL seeing the steepest drop at 41.3%, followed by NCL at 23.6% and MCL at 13.9%. Only SECL showed growth at 9.3%.
