Coal India reported provisional coal production of 74.7 million tonnes (MT) in Feb 2026, up 0.7% year-on-year, while offtake dipped 1.5% to 62.0 MT. For the 11-month period Apr'25-Feb'26, cumulative production stood at 683.7 MT (-1.7% YoY) and offtake at 674.6 MT (-2.8% YoY), both contracting compared to last year. Several subsidiaries — BCCL, WCL and CCL — posted double-digit declines in cumulative production and offtake, while SECL remained the standout performer with +7.0% production and +4.3% offtake growth.
