Colgate Palmolive (India) reported Q4 FY26 net sales of Rs. 1,583 Crore, up 9% YoY, driven by broad-based portfolio growth and premiumization. Full-year net sales stood at Rs. 5,984 Crore, flat vs FY25. Net profit after tax for FY26 was Rs. 1,325 Crore vs Rs. 1,437 Crore in FY25, impacted by inverted duty structure charges due to GST changes. The Board declared a Second Interim Dividend of Rs. 24 per share, bringing total FY26 dividend to Rs. 48 per share (Rs. 653 Crore payout). The company also re-appointed Mr. Jacob Sebastian Madukkakuzy as Whole-time Director & CFO for 5 years from October 2026. Cash and cash equivalents more than doubled to Rs. 1,426 Crore from Rs. 668 Crore last year. Statutory auditors S R B C & CO LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion.
Positive signals include strong Q4 recovery with 9% sales growth and 3x growth in premium business. However, flat full-year sales and lower net profit reflect macro headwinds. The clean audit opinion and robust cash position strengthen investor confidence. Total dividend of Rs. 48 per share provides steady returns.
