Comfort Commotrade reported its Q1 FY26 results with standalone net income from operations at Rs. 892.98 lakhs, down about 9% from Rs. 980.71 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax came in at Rs. 661.28 lakhs (vs Rs. 718.94 lakhs YoY), translating to a basic EPS of Rs. 6.60 (vs Rs. 7.18). Consolidated PAT was Rs. 657.21 lakhs with EPS of Rs. 6.56. The company has one foreign subsidiary, Anjali Tradelink FZE (100%), whose results were included but not separately audited. The auditor issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. Note that the previous quarter (Q4 FY25) had actually posted a loss of Rs. 1,086 lakhs standalone, so this quarter represents a strong recovery on a sequential basis.
The YoY decline in revenue and profit is modest, but the sequential recovery from a loss-making Q4 FY25 to a healthy Rs. 661 lakh PAT is positive for shareholders. With no exceptional items or auditor concerns, results appear stable though growth is flat.
