Comfort Intech has sent an email to shareholders explaining the tax deduction at source (TDS) rules on its final dividend for FY 2024-25. The Board had recommended a final dividend of 7%, i.e. Rs. 0.07 per equity share on a face value of Re. 1, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 31st AGM. The record date is Thursday, September 18, 2025, with share transfer books closed from September 19 to September 25, 2025. TDS will be deducted at 10% for resident shareholders with valid PAN, 20% without PAN or for non-filers, and 20% plus surcharge/cess for non-residents (or lower treaty rate where applicable). Individual shareholders receiving total dividends up to Rs. 10,000 in FY 2025-26 are exempt from TDS.
This is a routine compliance communication, not a new corporate action. Shareholders on record as of September 18, 2025 will receive Rs. 0.07 per share as dividend (subject to AGM approval) with applicable TDS deducted. Investors should ensure PAN, bank and email details are updated with the RTA (Bigshare) or depository to avoid higher 20% TDS deduction.
