Citizen Infoline Limited has completed a Scheme of Amalgamation where Citizen Solar Private Limited (unlisted solar company) merged into it. The NCLT Ahmedabad Bench approved this scheme on 19 March 2026. Following the merger, the company legally changed its name to Citizen Solar Limited effective 4 May 2026. The company's sector classification has been updated from information services to Renewable Energy / Solar / Clean Energy. The appointed date for the amalgamation was 1 April 2023. Post-merger, the company's primary business will be manufacturing, trading, installation, EPC, and operation of Solar Energy Systems, Solar Photovoltaic Systems, Solar Parks and other Renewable Energy activities. Citizen Solar Private Limited stands dissolved without winding up.
Shareholders should note this is a complete business transformation through reverse merger, shifting from information services to solar energy. The stock will now trade under Citizen Solar Limited in the renewable energy sector, reflecting the company's new core business operations.
