Competent Automobiles has published a notice in Business Standard (English and Hindi) on June 6, 2025, informing shareholders about the upcoming transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Under Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013, shares whose dividends have remained unpaid or unclaimed for seven consecutive years (from FY 2017-18 onwards) will be moved to IEPF. Shareholders who have not claimed their dividends since FY 2017-18 are urged to contact the company's Registrar, Skyline Financial Services, before August 22, 2025. If no valid claim is received by the deadline, the shares will be transferred to IEPF without further notice, and the company will have no liability for those shares thereafter. Affected shareholders can later reclaim shares by applying through Form IEPF-5.
