Concord Control Systems Ltd (BSE: CNCRD) announced that its associate company, Progota India Private Limited, has secured a Rs. 53.73 crore order from Indian Railways for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH 4.0 equipment — India's indigenous Automatic Train Protection system designed to prevent train collisions, over-speeding, and signal passing at danger. Execution is scheduled within 12 months under the government's Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. This order builds on prior KAVACH wins — a Rs. 19.45 crore field order from South Central Railway in September 2025 and a Rs. 185.09 crore order in early February 2026 — both also routed through Progota. Concord holds a substantial stake in Progota, which has RDSO approvals for the KAVACH platform. The company is positioning itself as a key indigenous technology partner in Indian Railways' nationwide safety rollout.
Positive for shareholders — the order strengthens Concord's order book and reinforces its role as a trusted indigenous technology supplier for Indian Railways' safety modernization. Continued order momentum supports revenue visibility, though investors should watch for execution progress within the 12-month timeline and revenue recognition through the associate company route.
