Concord Control Systems announced that its associate company, Progota India Private Limited, has secured a Rs. 53.73 crore order from Indian Railways for KAVACH 4.0 on-board equipment. KAVACH 4.0 is India's indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system designed to prevent train collisions, overspeeding, and signal passing at danger. The scope covers supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, with execution scheduled over 12 months. This is the latest in a series of wins — the company secured a Rs. 19.45 crore field order from South Central Railway in September 2025 and a much larger Rs. 185.09 crore contract in early February 2026. The order reinforces Concord's role in railway safety modernization under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and builds on prior RDSO approvals.
Positive for the stock — the order adds meaningful revenue visibility over the next 12 months and strengthens Concord's credibility as a trusted partner in India's railway safety programme, potentially supporting order book growth and valuations.
