Concord Enviro Systems' wholly-owned overseas subsidiary, Concord Enviro FZE, has acquired a 2.87% stake (1,277,777 shares) in WaHa Inc., a US-based clean-technology company. The deal costs approximately US$ 575,000 (at US$ 0.45 per share). WaHa Inc., incorporated in 2018 and headquartered in California, specializes in atmospheric water generation and energy-efficient cooling solutions using advanced desiccant technology and MOF-based systems. The acquisition aims to establish a strategic partnership providing exclusive licensing rights for India and UAE, plus global manufacturing rights for AWG systems. WaHa had minimal revenue (US$ 0.14 lakh in FY25) and is currently loss-making. The transaction is not a related party deal and is structured on an arm's length basis.
This minority investment gives Concord Enviro access to new atmospheric water generation technology and expands its reach into India and UAE markets. While strategically aligned with sustainability goals, the small stake size (2.87%) means limited immediate financial impact on the parent company's valuations.
