CONCOR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PSA Mumbai (Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Pvt. Ltd.), India's largest container terminal at JNPA, for strategic collaboration in rail-based cargo movement. The MOU aims to enhance connectivity between PSA Mumbai and CONCOR's network of Inland Container Depots and domestic terminals. Key objectives include facilitating domestic/cabotage and customs-cleared EXIM cargo movement through rail, optimizing yard space and rail infrastructure, reducing road congestion, and operating scheduled container train services. The agreement was signed on 15 May 2026 in New Delhi in presence of CONCOR CMD and PSA Regional CEO. The MOU also explores feasibility of a broader strategic alliance agreement.
The MOU signals a strategic partnership but remains preliminary (exploring feasibility of broader alliance), so it may not have immediate material impact on CONCOR's financials or operations.
