Continental Petroleums has published its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025, as approved by the Board on May 20, 2025. For FY25, total income from operations stood at Rs 11,290.70 lakhs versus Rs 5,302.91 lakhs in FY24, more than doubling year-on-year. Net profit after tax rose to Rs 597.05 lakhs from Rs 384.85 lakhs, with EPS of Rs 7.75 versus Rs 4.92 in the previous year. However, the standalone Q4 performance showed a sharp slowdown — profit after tax dropped to Rs 45.35 lakhs from Rs 157.11 lakhs in Q4 FY24, even as quarterly revenue grew from Rs 1,881.89 lakhs to Rs 2,685.53 lakhs. The company operates in lubricants, grease manufacturing, incineration services and EPC projects.
Strong full-year top-line and earnings growth is a positive, but the sharp Q4 profit decline despite higher revenue points to margin pressure that investors should watch. The stock may see mixed reaction as the weak quarterly performance tempers the otherwise robust annual numbers.
