Continental Petroleums reported audited FY25 results with revenue from operations more than doubling to ₹11,250.71 lakhs (vs ₹5,237.05 lakhs in FY24), driven by lubricants business growth. Profit before tax rose to ₹597.05 lakhs (vs ₹384.85 lakhs), and profit after tax grew to ₹430.95 lakhs (vs ₹273.31 lakhs), a ~58% jump. Basic EPS improved sharply to ₹7.75 from ₹1.92. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The board also reappointed internal and secretarial auditors for FY26.
Strong revenue and profit growth with a clean audit opinion is positive for shareholders. However, trade receivables more than doubled to ₹4,816 lakhs (from ₹2,321 lakhs) and trade payables also surged, so investors should watch cash collection quality despite positive operating cash flow of ₹246 lakhs.
