Coromandel International posted Q1 FY27 results. Standalone revenue grew 10% to Rs 7,792 Cr but PAT fell 26% to Rs 377 Cr due to elevated raw material costs from the Middle East crisis and inadequate subsidy rates, hitting the Fertiliser business. Consolidated PAT dropped 24% to Rs 382 Cr. Crop Protection segment saw revenue up 20% to Rs 870 Cr and EBITDA up 44% to Rs 159 Cr. Phosphoric and Sulphuric Acid plants at Kakinada stabilised; brownfield fertiliser granulation project adding 7.5 lakh tons capacity on track for Q4 FY27.
Mixed quarter: revenue grew but profits declined sharply on external cost pressures. Capacity expansion on track. Crop Protection a bright spot.
